Editor & Publisher Magazine has announced it's call for the 2011 EPPY Awards, honoring the best media-affiliated websites. Now in it's 16th year, this international contest has broadened its scope to keep up with the ever changing industry.

IRVINE, CA, July 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) Editor & Publisher Magazine has announced its call for entries for the 2011 EPPY Awards, honoring the best media-affiliated websites. Now in its 16th year, this international contest has broadened its scope to keep up with the ever-changing Internet industry.

Entries are being accepted across 43 diverse categories, with three divisions for each category:
• 1 million and over unique monthly visitors
• 250,000 to 1 million unique monthly visitors
• Under 250,000 unique monthly visitors
The EPPY Awards also recognize excellence in college and university journalism with awards in five different categories, including Best College Newspaper Website.

Entries in the EPPY Awards are judged by a panel of notable figures in the media industry, chosen by the staff of Editor & Publisher.

The deadline to enter is September 30, 2011. Winners of the awards will be announced on http://www.EditorAndPublisher.com, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011.
