Shade & Shutter Expo Hires Markomm for Internet Marketing Services

Shade & Shutter Expo, a Myrtle Beach, SC window treatment dealer contracted Markomm to provide PPC (Pay-Per-Click) services. This helps Shade & Shutter Expo obtain a strong presence with the search engines and gain more clients and sales.

2011-08-01
NORFOLK, VA, August 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Shade & Shutter Expo and Markomm have entered into an agreement where Markomm, a SEO Denver Internet Marketing Firm, will provide PPC services to Shade & Shutter Expo. The multi layered campaign was launched July 21st in Myrtle Beach, SC and the surrounding areas. These campaigns will help Shade & Shutter Expo gain a stronger presence on the search engines, and result in more clients and sales.

Consumers today live in the information age. Technology has allowed consumers to have information at their fingertips and easily searchable through Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. More than 97% of all consumers stay on the first page of Google. For this reason, it is becoming more important for business owners to have a strong presence with Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.

Markomm will be focusing on PPC (pay-per-click) advertising. This strategy includes the ads that are displayed across the top and down the right hand column on the search engine results pages.

"Our ads will be very tightly themed. This way, if someone searches on "Vertical Blinds" they will see an ad that says "Vertical Blinds" and, once clicked, the consumer will land on a page all about "Vertical Blinds or a current special" said Justin Mouttet of Markomm, the Google Certified Account Manager for Shade & Shutter Expo.

One of the key advantages of the Markomm PPC (pay-per-click) program is its speed. Markomm is able to have ads running on the first page of Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc within as little as 24 hours.

Pay-per-click focuses on a variety of keyword and keyword phrases that trigger a custom ad. When a user clicks on the ad, they are directed to the appropriate page on the website.

"We're looking to target a very specific segment of the population with our ads." Commented Danny Fergus of Shade & Shutter Expo. "We are looking for clients that enjoy our customer focused service as well as our top notch product line. These products will beautify our clients homes for years to come. Markomm has worked with window treatment dealers for a long time now and handing this over to them makes our lives just that much easier."

"We're really excited about implementing this campaign." Commented Jeff Hensiek of Markomm. "In our 11 years of business, we've seen that PPC (pay-per-click) provides our clients with a very immediate return on their marketing dollars. We are also able to provide great tracking and a lot of flexibility that is lacking in other traditional marketing avenues."

Pay-per-click advertising is a critical element of an Online Marketing Plan. Markomm has already launched the PPC campaign on Google. Overtime, Markomm will be monitoring and tracking the benefits of this campaign and, in needed, will add Bing/Yahoo and other tools as well.

New research sheds light on why, after 300,000 years of domination, European Neanderthals abruptly disappeared. Researchers from the University of Cambridge have discovered that modern humans coming from Africa swarmed the region, arriving with over ten times the population as the Neanderthal inhabitants. The reasons for the relatively sudden disappearance of the European Neanderthal populations across the continent around 40,000 years ago has for long remained one of the great mysteries of human evolution. After 300 millennia of living, and evidently flourishing, ...

Breast screening has had little to do with falling breast cancer deaths

2011-08-01
Breast cancer screening has not played a direct part in the reductions of breast cancer mortality in recent years, says a new study published on bmj.com today. An international team of researchers from France, the UK and Norway found that better treatment and improving health systems are more likely to have led to falling numbers of deaths from breast cancer than screening. The number of deaths from breast cancer is falling in many developed countries, but it is difficult to determine how much of that reduction over the past 20 years of mammography screening is due ...

The introduction of legislation that restricts unhealthy food, for example by reducing salt content and eliminating industrial trans fats, would prevent thousands of cases of heart disease in England and Wales and save the NHS millions of pounds, finds research published on bmj.com today. Heart disease and stroke cause over 150,000 deaths every year in the UK and yet over 80% of premature heart disease is avoidable, say the authors. They add that established research has already indicated that individuals who consume too much salt and eat food which is high in industrial ...
