NEW YORK, NY, August 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Table Tennis Nation, a leader of social ping-pong, is hosting a free End of Summer Tournament at SPiN New York (48 E 23rd St) August 10th, 2011 at 7 PM.
The summer is still going strong, and a little ping pong is the perfect way to get together with friends mid-week when driving up to the Hamptons for the night may not be the most practical idea, plus free ping pong costs less than a Jitney ticket.
The End of Summer Brawl will feature Table Tennis Nation's unique 3-on-3 Brawl format, which aims to fuse ping-pong and socializing while maintaining a competitive spirit.
The Brawl is becoming the choice of recreational ping pong players throughout New York. This summer has seen Brawls taking place in restaurants, gyms, and clubs for private and public events.
"The combination of a new fun and social game with the Table Tennis Nation paddle makes the game more exciting and interesting for all players," said Marty Reisman, Table Tennis Nation President and 23 time National and International Champion.
This collision of sport and social is only a perfect match for SPiN New York, one of NYC's most innovative hangout spots. SPiN New York's ping pong nightclub promises to provide a fitting venue for a night of ping pong fervor.
Table Tennis Nation's End of Summer Brawl is free and open to the public and will begin at 7 pm on August 10th. Players of all abilities are encouraged to attend. Teams and individual players are welcom to play as Table Tennis Nation staff will use its expertise to create teams of single players.
The winning team will take home a cash prize and entry into Table Tennis Nations $10,000 Tournament of Champions.
Players can register at 6:30 pm on the 10th or by emailing Table Tennis Nation at info@tabletennisnation.com or calling 646-481-8861.
