High Mountain Discount Camping Supply saw the need to inform kayakers about the status of rivers in Central Florida. They are making frequent trips down Florida Rivers kayaking, enjoying the great outdoors. They have joined the Puffins a kayaking group that not only kayak known paddling trails but also are interested in opening up new sections of rivers in Florida. They enjoy exploring Florida Rivers just for the fun of it. Kayaking is a great way to get out and see Wildlife. It also is an ecofriendly mode of traveling through the wilderness. Kayaks are quiet and easy to paddle by one person. As you paddle down a river or along a lake bank, you can see all kinds of wildlife.

The Puffins based in the wilderness of Central Florida are an ecofriendly group that believes in getting out and enjoying the great outdoors. Their office is the great outdoors and they meet in the great outdoors. So if it is Biking, Hiking, or Kayaking they enjoy it all. They try to get out once a week to kayak on different rivers, but they also go on trips throughout the week to see more places and the places they go is to checkout a new place to kayak. When they go out on the weekend they are out for the fun and want to go have fun ( this is not to say that the other trips are not fun but they are to see new places and make a test run before everyone from the group goes to a new place.) When we go on our trips, they end up being a full day trip on the weekend, with grilling and many breaks to Cool off and relax. The Puffins want to open up as many rivers in Florida as they can and will continue to do so if they can. They also want to find new sections of river to explore and tell other people about the rivers they paddle. They feel the blog will help.

The Kayaking blog they hope will help let people know of new places to kayak and the condition of the river. When they paddle a river, they do a blog entry and give the reader some insight into what to expect on a trip on that river. The blog will give the reader of what they thing the experience of the kayaker should be. They informed me that they only sagest an experience level and you should always know your own skill level as well as the skill level of others that paddle with you. There are some great rivers to kayak on in Florida; some are just jammed up from storms and logs. Some places are so popular that if you just go and think you are going to get a canoe or kayak when you get there, good luck. They just did a trip to wikiee wachiee and one of the puffins did not have a kayak and thought that he would get one there and they had no boats at all. He got lucky and they had a cancelation and a kayak came available but he paid $5 more and had to paddle a tandem kayak. They hope to make trips more enjoyable for every one that wants to go paddling. If someone wants to go kayaking and wants to rent a kayak then they want to let them know where they can rent one and what they have to have to rent one. They are also looking to let people know how long a trip is and want to add that the time it takes to go down a river varies and all time they quote is approximant and your time can be longer or shorter depending on the condition and speed you paddle down the river.
