OXFORD, ENGLAND, August 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) Shirtworks, a leading UK supplier of customised clothing and promotional products, has added a new way to search its recently improved online catalogue, enabling users to find clothing ideal for different sports by searching the catalogue by sport or purpose, as well as garment type. Examples include searching for rowing and football clothing for customisation, and also garments suitable for garden centre staff workwear. For more information visit http://www.shirtworks.co.uk or call 0800 0725334.
"This is one of several improvements to the user experience we've been able to implement thanks to the recent upgrade in our online catalogue," said Arron Harnden, MD of Shirtworks. "We're constantly looking for ways to make finding items and ordering them even easier for our customers, so allowing people to search by the purpose of the clothing was a natural step to take."
When asked why allowing site users to search by sport or purpose is particularly helpful, Arron replied; "There are literally dozens of different types of garments available for printing or embroidery on the Shirtworks website, but only a portion of them are suitable for specific sporting activities. It's also all to do with the mindset of our customer when using the site," Arron explained. "People may well go to the site thinking 'we need to find a top for our rowing team' and so enabling them to go straight to customisable clothing perfect for rowers at the very top level of the search makes more sense than having to search for t-shirts and then refine the search for sport suitable fabrics."
