Mikogo Mac Software Now Available for Mac OS X Lion

With the release of an update to its Mac software, Mikogo has made its cross-platform desktop sharing software compatible for use on Apple's latest operating system, Mac OS X Lion.

MANNHEIM, GERMANY, August 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) Mikogo, the free cross-platform remote desktop solution, has released an important update for its Mac software making it compatible with the latest Apple operating system, Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7).

Apple only recently released Mac OS X Lion advancing its powerful desktop operating system and incorporating a wide range of new features. Millions of Mac users worldwide are already updating to Mac OS X Lion which makes this release an important update by Mikogo as they continue to deliver a native and cross-platform desktop sharing solution to its users.

Mikogo's work in developing and advancing its desktop sharing technology has recently been very active. This latest release of the Mikogo Mac software comes just weeks after the official release of Mikogo Version 4, which was a major update for all three operating system platforms, Windows, Mac and Linux.

Expanding on their cross-platform capabilities, Mikogo plans to soon release apps for iPhone, iPad and Android this year which will allow participants to join sessions and view the screen of the presenter live from their mobile devices.
