VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, August 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) K5 Learning today unveils the soft launch of its online reading and math enrichment program for kids in kindergarten to Grade 5. Parents who subscribe their kids to K5 will receive a 14-day free trial, free assessments in reading and math, and, as part of the launch promotion, an additional three free months of K5 Learning.
K5 students are initially assessed in key reading and math subskills.. As one of the only online learning tools to carry out an assessment of each student, K5 can truly provide every child with a personalized study program. Over 3,000 interactive animated activities are taught in bite-size chunks allowing even the youngest children to work independently and progress at their own pace. Included in K5 Learning are four programs: K5 Reading, K5 Math, K5 Math Facts and K5 Spelling.
K5 Learning Solves Pain Points for Parents
K5 Learning deals with the pain points parents face when looking for after-school or Summer-time learning tools, including:
• the lack of structure on free education sites which requires parents to constantly organize and supervise studying,
• the emphasis on entertainment over education in game-based education programs,
● the cost and inconvenience of individual tutoring and after-school study centres.
"Children's brains are like sponges; they can learn a lot given the chance," comments Asa Zanatta, Chief Mom Officer of K5 Learning. "Ultimately, kids can only reach their potential by learning at their own pace, and this is often difficult in a classroom. Parents need tools that support after-school learning but that also fit into their busy lifestyles. Our aim at K5 Learning is to build reading, math and study skills to last a lifetime. "
Three Free Months of K5 Learning for August Early Birds
In addition to the initial 14-day free trial, K5 Learning is offering every parent that signs up during August 3 free months after using K5 for 3 months and completing an online survey. Further details of the promotion can be found on the K5 Learning site.
