Tom's Foreign Auto Parts Announces Gas Recycling Program

Tom's Foreign Auto Parts, a multi channel online retailer of used foreign auto parts, uses a gas tank driller to recycle the gas of every salvage car that comes in to the shop.

2011-08-25
WATERBURY, CT, August 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) Tom's Foreign Auto Parts, a multi channel online retailer of used foreign auto parts, uses a gas tank driller to recycle the gas of every salvage car that comes in to the shop.

For safety and environmental reasons, Tom's Foreign Auto Parts drains every gas tank of every car so that no fluids hit the ground. When a salvage car enters the shop it is put on a lift and an air powered drill gets raised up to the gas tank, drills into the gas tank, and sucks the gas out. The gas then goes through a filtering system and then into one of Tom's Foreign Auto Parts' 250 gallon fuel tanks every week. Tom's Foreign Auto Parts employees then get a free tank of the recycled gas.
