Michigan Lawyers Weekly Honors Linda Paullin-Hebden as One of its Leading "Women in the Law"

SOUTHFIELD, MI, August 25, 2011

Michigan Lawyers Weekly has recognized Linda Paullin-Hebden, a partner in the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, as one of its 2011 "Women in the Law."

The award, which will be presented in a special ceremony in Detroit on Sept. 12, recognizes the contributions of 20 leading women attorneys across the state. Nominations were asked to comment on four areas:
• Excellence in the practice of law
• Accomplished leader in the profession
• Mentor to other women
• Volunteerism and pro bono work

This is the second year for the awards.

"We received so many great nominations, it really shows the breadth and depth of women in the legal community in Michigan," said MLW Publisher Donald Stemmermann. "There were difficult decisions to be made, but in our view, all of the nominees are winners. With so many great candidates comes a great opportunity for us to showcase the best of the best with these honorees."

Paullin-Hebden focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, investment advisor compliance and general corporate matters. Active in law firm leadership, she serves on 10-member Warner Norcross Management Committee and chairs the Woman-Owned Business Enterprise Practice Group. She also serves as a mentor to young associates on their path to partnership.

Paullin-Hebden has been recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan and active in the Business Law sections of each.
