With this increased emphasis on residential care growth, California has passed legislation to mandate such facilities create an Emergency Plan, maintain emergency supplies for residents and staff, and train employees in emergency procedures. Similarly, group homes (GH) and day care facilities are also required by legislation to have such plans, supplies and training.
