Total Quality Logistics Releases Enhanced TQL Freight Finder Mobile Application

The TQL Freight Finder Version 2.0 mobile app includes new features requested by freight carriers.

CINCINNATI, OH, August 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) Total Quality Logistics (TQL), the first third-party logistics firm to release a freight-finding mobile phone application for the trucking industry, is announcing version 2.0 of its TQL Freight Finder mobile app. The company has added new features and functionality based on feedback from users of the initial application, which was first introduced in February 2011. This updated version will replace the first, and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Android Marketplace, and used on the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android.

New features include:
• Adjustable Destination Radius
The flexibility to select different searches by mileage radius for a truck to pick up and drop off shipments
• State to State Search
See available loads by state without having to specify a city when searching
• Additional Equipment Options Listed
The ability to search for truck loads for both step decks and vented vans
• Multiple Equipment Selections
The ability to search loads for multiple types of trucks at the same time
• Canadian Freight Search
Locate TQL loads into and out of Canada
• Email, Not Just Call a TQL Account Executive
Email the account executive in charge of managing a load directly by tapping the SmartPhone touch screen

TQL Freight Finder allows carriers to search for available loads by mileage radius, equipment type, load date, and destination city/state. The application also provides users with the capability to search for available loads according to their SmartPhone GPS Locator's current location. Search results are returned based on entered criteria and include load details for each available load.
