SEATTLE, WA, August 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) According to "Cash Money" Lil Wayne has announced that its highly anticipated album Tha Carter IV will drop the day after his highly anticipated performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday (August 28th) at the midnight.
"I am extremely excited to be the first artist to utilize such an amazing idea. I hope that I can open the door for others," Lil Wayne said.
The album will be in stores exclusively online, prior to its release to physical stores on August 30th.
"The MTV Video Music Awards are one of the most watched and respected shows in the industry," added "Cash Money" CEO Ronald "Slim" Williams. "Wayne is one of the most respected and prolific artists in the industry. By pairing the release of Tha Carter IV with the VMAs, it will certainly add to the overall anticipation and excitement for fans everywhere for what will surely be an unforgettable evening."
In prior of this event Lil Wayne have had an exciting August. After apologizing to his fans for waiting to long for the "Tha Carter 4" by releasing mixtape "Sorry 4 the Wait", he released 5 more mixtapes and have been accused by a rapper named Rich Rick that the beats form one of them - "How to Love" , which is supposedly the third single from 'Tha Carter IV' - were stolen.
According to Rick, he originally purchased the track for "How to Love" from a production crew known as the Drummer Boyz. TMZ.com, which obtained a copy of the lawsuit, reports that Rich Rick claims he purchased the beat from the Drumma Boyz between 2006 and 2009. But in 2010, the lawsuit claims that the beat was resold to Lil Wayne for a 35% royalty agreement. Rich Rick is suing Lil Wayne and the Drumma Boyz for royalties earned from the record, along with 10% interest.
At august 19., during his tour in Canada he was attacked with pepper spray after some jerk snack into his after party and put the excruciating substance in the air ducts. It all went down at a club in Montreal called La Mouche -- where Weezy washosting the afterparty for his show. We're told some jacka** snuck into the back room and unleashed the chemical into the ventilation system -- and everyone had to be evacuated, including Weezy. So far, it's unclear if police are investigating -- but a rep for Lil Wayne says the rapper was okay and he continued for his next stop in Toronto." - according to -"TMZ"
Also, at august 22. while his Missouri "I Am Still a Music" tour, Lil Wayne was rushed to hospital after a bad fall on his skateboard at a skatepark in St. Louis resulting in Weezy needing 9 stitches. He has been released from hospital, but he did have a bad gash on his left eye.
'Young Money' leader revealed to XXL that he plans to retire soon and hints at C4 possibly being his last offering. "I'm bowing out still on top," he says. "I'ma make y'all want me when I retire. I'ma make y'all be like, 'Nooo!' I ain't leaving out this b*tch when y'all be like, 'Yeah, it's about time, dawg.'Carter IV ' might be my last one.
Nah, I'm serious, he says for "Tim Westwood TV" in June. "I have four kids and I would feel selfish not to at that age. At 35, I would feel selfish still going to the studio when it's such a vital point in their lives, not to be there. That would be very selfish of me. This is a solid plan and I stick with my plans. I'm gonna be a dad, a full-time dad."
"When I retire, I'll do something else, I'm gonna retire from this and probably jump into some ownership of some sports team or you know, I'm very heavy into sports. Any sport. It doesn't matter, it could be basketball or football. It could be even baseball."

The researchers say their analysis of the age-specific, long-term effects of chemotherapy provides new insights that will help patients and clinicians make more informed decisions about future reproductive options, such as egg harvesting.
Previous studies largely have focused on amenorrhea, or the lack of menstruation shortly after treatment, as the primary reproductive side effect of chemotherapy. In this analysis, ...
