Admiral Hall brings over 20 years of senior management and command experience making him an ideal mentor for a rapidly growing company like Anchor.
Some of Admiral Hall's challenging command assignments include: Commandant, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, the nation's premier senior service college where he led a faculty of 95 PhDs and 320 national and international students; Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group TWO, Amphibious Group TWO where he commanded 27 amphibious ships, four amphibious squadrons and more than 16,000 Sailors and Marines; Commanding Officer, USS TARAWA (LHA-1), the first of her class of amphibious assault ships carrying up to 1900 Marines, Harrier attack aircraft, helicopters and landing craft; Commanding Officer, Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 51, the first Commanding Officer of this squadron based in Atsugi, Japan which was awarded the Navy Battle "E" Award: and Commanding Officer, Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 41, the west coast Fleet Replacement Squadron.
Admiral Hall has served in numerous other demanding Navy and Joint Forces leadership capacities such as Deputy Chief of Staff Operations, NATO Northwood UK, Deputy Chief of Staff Operations for Information Operations, Central Command, Air Officer/Executive Officer USS ESSEX (LHD-2), as well as numerous shipboard assignments flying anti-submarine and general utility missions. Admiral Hall is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Class of 1976.
