TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, August 31, 2011 (Press-News.org) World Aircraft Solutions with the logistical support of APS Air Parts Services & Supplies has completed the dismantling of a CRJ200LR MSN7311. As a result of the successful teardown, over 1,600 CRJ parts are currently consigned and available for lease, sale, and exchange through the APS sales team.
The teardown took place at Ascent facility, Tucson AZ during the month of July 2011, lasted for 21 days and included the removal of all structural parts (flight surfaces, stabilizers, winglets, doors etc'), avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, interior, landing gears and APU. Most airframe components were certified by the OEM (Bombardier) and carry fresh 8130-3 tags.
The CRJ200 LR is the second joint consignment project of World Aircraft Solutions and APS follow by a B737-500 (MSN26663) teardown performed in 2010.
