The Organic Hound Co. Will Offer Their Organic Dog Treats at Two Local Events in September

Dogs in the Monadnock region will have something to bark about next month as The Organic Hound Co. gets ready to offer up free samples of their USDA certified organic dog treats at two dog friendly events in September.

2011-08-31
SWANZEY, NH, August 31, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Organic Hound Co. is excited to be participating in the "Dog Days of Summer" event for people and their dogs taking place on September 3rd in Jaffrey, NH. This Saturday, Jaffrey businesses located on the town's historic Main St. strip will be opening their doors to local residents and their furry family members from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Event organizers are making "Dog Days of Summer" a true celebration of dogs by inviting local dog-related businesses to set up tents on Main St. The Organic Hound Co. plans on tantalizing dogs' taste buds by offering free samples of their organic dog treats, which are currently available in 3 unique flavors: Organic Pumpkin Ginger, Organic Peanut Butter Flax, and Organic Beef Heart.

The next event on the calendar for the emerging organic dog treat company is The Walk for the Animals fundraising event sponsored by the Monadnock Humane Society. Scheduled for 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday September 25th, The Walk for the Animals promises to be a fun and entertaining event for families and their dogs, all while raising money to help the Humane Society continue to provide excellent care for the thousands of pets who rely on their help each year.

Owner, Jess Hendelman says, "We want people to learn about our dog treats, ask us questions, and let dogs test out all of our treat flavors. These dog friendly events provide the perfect setting for that. And at The Walk for the Animals we get to do all that while supporting a great cause. It doesn't get any better than that."

The Organic Hound Co. dog treats officially hit the shelves in February 2011, and support from the local dog loving community has been strong. In July, all three varieties of the company's organic dog treats received USDA organic certification from the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture. This major accomplishment is timely given the quality standard debates that continue to take place in the pet food industry.

As the pet industry continues to trend in the direction of natural and organic pet food and accessories, The Organic Hound Co. hopes to be a resource for dog owners in their local New Hampshire and even broader New England community.

Don't miss "Dog Days of Summer" on September 3rd and The Walk for the Animals on September 25th. There will be plenty of organic dog treats to go around, courtesy of The Organic Hound Co.!

The Organic Hound Co. is an organic dog biscuit company with a focus on sustainability. All of our organic dog treats are 100% USDA certified organic by the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture. For more information, please contact us at info@theorganichound.com.
