MASON, OH, August 31, 2011 (Press-News.org) - JTM Food Group, a Harrison, Ohio based company specializing in menu solutions for the food service industry, has introduced a new line of Burrito Fillings in response to market demands for more Mexican options. The new food service product line features more than a dozen chicken, beef and pork options for both lunch/dinner entrees and breakfast dishes. The new fillings join more than 650 food items on the JTM menu and are among more than 100 new products introduced this year alone.
"JTM's research and development team always has its ears to the market, so we can constantly provide our food service customers with new menu options that are on trend and on taste," said Jack Maas Jr., Vice President, Sales, for JTM Food Group. "Right now, we're seeing a 'burrito boom' across the U.S., as demand continues to grow for new Mexican dishes. JTM's new Mexican Fillings really meet the demand with a variety of delicious options."
In 2010, JTM produced more than 10 million pounds of taco meat and that number will continue to rise with the new additions. JTM's line of Mexican Fillings now includes more than a dozen varieties, including:
• Shredded Beef
• Spicy Beef & Bean
• Shredded Chipotle Chicken
• Veggie Chipotle
• Pork Carnitas with Corn
• Cilantro Chicken
• Reduced Fat, Reduced Sodium Beef Taco Filling
In addition, JTM now offers six Breakfast Mexican Fillings, including the new Chorizo con Pappas with Egg & Cheese.
"The chefs and food service directors that we work with every day are always trying to stay one step ahead and give their customers the menu options they want," added Maas Jr. "JTM is nimble enough to react to those market trends and deliver great menu options quickly, and we're large enough to meet the demands of any food service operation in the country. Our new line of Mexican Fillings really demonstrates that combination of creativity and capacity very well."
