RALEIGH, NC, September 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Dan Fields, AIA, principal and CMO at BJAC, pa (http://www.bjac.com), an architectural firm offering professional services for specialized, complex institutional projects, has announced the release of a podcast onusing Prezi as a creative presentation tool.In this podcast, marketing coordinator Sarah Barrett discusses how architects can use Prezi to get across ideas in a nonlinear manner. Launched in April 2009, Prezi is a web-based, interactive presentation platform that allows users to easily move around multiple parts of a presentation and zoom in and out to see details rather than moving forwards and backwards through slides. The program is much like the web-based software that has changed how people navigate maps. This podcast can be found at: http://www.bjac.com/podcasts.
QUOTES:
"At BJAC, we use Prezi to create a story that relates in a 360-degree environment, as opposed to the forward and backward slide show format of a typical presentation program," said Barrett. "A Prezi presentation is also hosted on the web, so you can access it from anywhere. It's an engaging tool that can create real impact in presentations. Ultimately it helps convey a more meaningful and active message."

Those little moments that make you smile - the American tourist this week (complete with golf clubs) who was asking on the train whether the weather was generally good in Aberdeen ... his fellow passengers let him down gently ... or the kids queuing for the back-to-school bus in their brand new uniforms with cuffs to their knuckles to allow for growing room.
