Barcode Director - automatically integrate images with legacy business process
Inlite Research, the leading provider of barcode technology for document imaging, announces Barcode Director, the business process integration application that organizes incoming document images for integration with existing enterprise workflows.
2010-09-22
SUNNYVALE, CA, September 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Inlite Research, the leading provider of barcode technology for document imaging, announces _b_Barcode Director_/b_, the business process integration application that organizes incoming document images for integration with existing enterprise workflows. Inlite Research has addressed the need to integrate document imaging with legacy processes with the introduction of two products that work together to completely automate paper based business processes. PDF Imprint is the product that generates properly constructed and barcoded documents. Barcode Director is the product that accepts document images in any format from almost any source and creates files and data that are required to drive the next activity in the process. Reversing the trend of complex and expensive image handling software, Barcode Director is simple to operate, yet offers sophisticated features for enterprise integration. The program UI takes the user through the definition of input sources, barcodes, separation profiles, and output requirements. It can be invoked on demand, on schedule or it can continually watch one or more folders for incoming images from scanners or fax servers. _b_Automatic Scripts_/b_ When customers encounter images whose barcodes are not readable, Inlite can design scripts, which Barcode Director can execute to automatically improve the image and make the barcodes readable. Thus the customer gains higher read rates without slowing down the better images. _b_Separation Profiles_/b_ Barcode Director can reorganize incoming image files in three fundamental ways: _b_* Rename_/b_ uses the first page barcode to rename that file _b_* Separate_/b_ regroups documents based on barcodes found anywhere _b_* Sort_/b_ routes every page to a different file _b_Reporting_/b_ Barcode Director creates reports in XML, CSV or Tab separated formats. The reports can serve to integrate the output files with the next step in the workflow, such as archiving, or database updates.
