WorksForWeb Announces Cutting-Edge Advances in New Version 5.4 Classified Script

The WorksForWeb team is glad to announce the new version of classified software packages. The Version 5.4 has great number of new features aimed to make it easier and more comfortable for use.

2011-09-16
WILMINGTON, DE, September 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) A new update to a growing family of WorksForWeb's classified scripts introduces a number of features that utilize social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter. Social media integration allows classified website owners to harness the power of viral marketing.

The recent release includes a redefined set of tools for the admin such as an Admin Dashboard
that simplifies everyday tasks, a new interface with flexible language capabilities, and improved integration with popular services.

Social Media Functionalities

In Version 5.4 of the classified software, developers have added the distinctive Facebook 'Like' and Twitter 'Tweet' buttons to each classified listing page, giving users the ability to share listings with their friends and followers. It's now also possible for users to use their OpenID, Google, Facebook and Twitter account to log in.

This development comes as no surprise considering recent trends in online business. According to a recent report from Search Engine Land, there are now roughly 700 Facebook status updates every second, as well as 600 Tweets per second. These sites and others like them represent a massive global community which is constantly growing. Until now, the classified ads software systems on the market gave website owners few ways to tap into this thriving marketplace.

The new update to WorksForWeb's software aims to allow classifieds website owners to take advantage of these continuing trends and to capitalize on them while promoting their listings and websites, which is exactly what the following improvement does.

In addition to the inclusion of the Like and Tweet buttons in the online classifieds script, owners of the v.5.4 classified script, as well as every user that has Facebook and Twitter enabled can now add new listings automatically to their Walls and/or Twitter feeds. This allows classified site owners to generate more buzz with a higher level of automation than they've enjoyed in the past.

Smooth, User-Friendly Admin Dashboard

Many scripts designed for classifieds websites lack usability on the business owner's end, making them slow and clunky to use when performing everyday tasks. WorksForWeb aims to offer a productivity boost for its clients by streamlining these daily tasks as much as possible in the software's new Admin Panel.

Changes include the ability to quickly alter the look and feel of the admin back end (which was rather hard-coded in the previous versions) by editing the CSS. The back end now features themes and multi-language capability (see below).

A set of new user management tools were added, making editing users fun. Both users and admins can now change usernames after creation of their account. Another new feature entails the creation of an entirely new user group, 'Buyers.'

These users can view listings and use all website services such as saved popular searches, adding ratings and comments to listings, but can't create their own ads.

Straightforward Admin Panel Translation into Multiple Languages

Other features that appear in the new update include a functionality that allows the admin to translate the back end interface into one or several languages. This simplifies the Admin Panel use for administrators who are not confident with English or have employees offshore.

The new update also includes back-end themes, allowing administrators to alter the look and feel of their sites via themes, similar to the method used by many blogging platforms to allow users with limited technical abilities to create fresh and professional looking sites. Further, themes can be tied up with languages (convenient websites in, say, English and Arabic, which needs an RTL theme).

Pricing and Availability

Version 5.4 of WorksForWeb's Classified Script is available now for direct download from http://www.worksforweb.com. The Standard edition is priced at $469, while a Special Edition is available for $339.00 only.

WorksForWeb is a professional web development team comprised of programmers, software support and marketing specialists.

The neuroscience of decision making: Deciphering how the brain chooses and decides

2011-09-16
Although still a young field, research in "decision neuroscience" has exploded in the last decade, with scientists beginning to decipher what exactly is happening in our brains when we are making choices, whether big or small. In fact, early findings suggest it is possible to parse out the complexity of thinking into its individual components, and in the process determine how they are integrated as we ponder and decide. Recently, researchers in decision neuroscience participated in a discussion about their work and the genesis of this cutting-edge field. During the ...

Stowers scientists successfully expand bone marrow-derived stem cells in culture
2011-09-16
KANSAS CITY, MO -- All stem cells—regardless of their source—share the remarkable capability to replenish themselves by undergoing self-renewal. Yet, so far, efforts to grow and expand scarce hematopoietic (or blood-forming) stem cells in culture for therapeutic applications have been met with limited success. Now, researchers at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research teased apart the molecular mechanisms enabling stem cell renewal in hematopoietic stem cells isolated from mice and successfully applied their insight to expand cultured hematopoietic stem cells a hundredfold. ...

Ethnicity-specific reference genomes improve genetic risk assessment using whole-genome sequencing

2011-09-16
A group of scientists, based primarily at Stanford University School of Medicine, have introduced ethnicity-specific reference genome sequences in a study to be published in the open-access journal PLoS Genetics on September 15th. Their utility was demonstrated in analyzing the genomes of a four-person family and following the flow of genes, in particular those associated with disease risk, from one generation to the next. The researchers augmented the widely-used human reference genome, the result of the Human Genome Project. This reference genome lacks the most common ...

Genomic catastrophe causes developmental delay, cognitive disorders

2011-09-16
HOUSTON -- (Sept. 16, 2011) – Using a diversity of DNA sequencing and human genome analytic techniques, researchers led by Baylor College of Medicine have identified some cases of developmental delay or cognitive disorders associated with a sudden chromosomal catastrophe that occurred early in development, perhaps during cell division when DNA is replicated. In a report in the journal Cell, Dr. Weimin Bi, assistant professor of molecular and human genetics, Dr. James R.Lupski, vice chair of molecular and human genetics, both at BCM, first author Pengfei Liu, a graduate ...

Mom, dad and kids undergo novel genome analyses for medical risks in new Stanford study

2011-09-16
STANFORD, Calif. — Stanford University School of Medicine researchers have predicted the inherited health risks of a four-person family by analyzing their whole genome sequences. With the DNA sequences of both parents and children, the team was able to better check for sequencing errors and more accurately predict how individual genetic variants affect each family member's risk for disease. The project improved computational tools that provide medical interpretation of genomes, which includes disease-risk prediction and how an individual would respond to common medications. ...
