XPO Achieves Top Rankings

Company Scores #52 on Inc. 5000 and #1 on Los Angeles Business Journal's Women-Owned Business Lists

2010-09-22
TORRANCE, CA, September 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) XPO, a leading provider of international and domestic mailing services, announced its new rankings from two different lists. Inc. 5000 ranked XPO #52 nationwide in the Logistics & Transportation companies' category. Los Angeles Business Journal listed XPO as the #1 women-owned business in Mailing & Logistics and ranked XPO the 24th overall largest women-owned business.

The Inc. 500/5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Additionally, they had to be a U.S. based privately held, independent company.

The Los Angeles Business Journal developed "The List" rankings based on 2009 revenue. In order to qualify for the lists, companies must be headquartered in Los Angeles County and have female ownership of at least 50 percent.

"XPO is very proud of our new top rankings from these two premier publications. As the business climate evolves, there is no question that it is now tougher than ever for companies to turn a profit and stay in business. This has actually helped XPO's growth, while at the same time helping our customers," said Kelly Herold-Martinez, CEO of XPO. "Today, companies must operate as efficiently as possible. For our clients, this means working with a dependable partner who can adapt to their needs and offer flexible postal solution systems. At XPO it is our goal to continually invent efficient solutions for our customers that are not only tailored to their unique needs but are also cost effective."

XPO's all inclusive pricing is another reason for their growth. Most competitors have hidden surcharges. Their comprehensive pricing allows customers to accurately forecast and control their costs, which has become critical in this turbulent economic climate. XPO is structured to allow for customized mailing solutions to fit their clients' needs, something else that is not common in this industry.
