ATLANTA, GA, October 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) Chris Stokes has either worked with, managed, produced & written songs, directed and/or discovered talents from the likes of: Brandy Norwood, Omarion, Destiny's Child, Kim Kardashian, B2K, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Kevin McCall (Glee), Demi Lovato, Marques Houston, Bow Wow, Malika Haqq, Immature, Jamie Foxx, and the late Brittney Murphy just to name a few. In a recent interview Stokes stated, " I love music, but I'm no longer managing." Instead I would like to focus strictly on film and television productions because my true passion is directing, and it also gives me more time to spend with my children and be a father."
By successfully writing, directing and producing the hit film, "You Got Served" (which grossed 48 million in the box office, and generated over 100 million in revenue) and began the worldwide dance phenomenon. Stokes has shown the industry that he has a proven record of commercial success. The two films "Somebody Help Me" and follow up sequel "Somebody Help Me 2" combined, helped the BET network and sponsors generate huge rating numbers on the channel, and also gross over 4 million in (DVD) home entertainment and television profits. Recently MTV Network shot a pilot of Chris Stokes' family and businesses called, "Different Stokes." Also, Stokes signed a new deal with Brian and Barrett films, along with a huge Investment group out of Turkey, to write, direct and produce three films a year. This year he has already completed production on two of the films, and is currently in production on his third film, all of which will be commercially released through major film studios. His latest films: "Battlefield America" and "The Helpers", set to hit theaters sometime next year, are sure to be box office smashes!
There's a lot going on with Mr. Stokes and much more to come.
