The Expo, themed "Be A Hero, Hire A Hero" Global Veterans Career Expo, is being held on November 7th in New York City aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, as well as running virtually online simultaneously and for thirty days thereafter spanning military bases around the globe.

The 2011 Veterans Career Expo is being held in partnership with No Greater Sacrifice and the New York City Business Leadership Network. The unemployment rate among Veterans has remained disproportionately high, staggering around 13.4% - more than 4 percentage points higher than the national average - according to the latest figures released by the U.S. Department of Labor.
