NBAF To Host Alzheimers 101 Seminar at Sadie G. Mays Center
The NBAF, presenter of the National Black Arts Festival and the Sadie G Mays Health and Rehabilitation Center will present an informative seminar on Alzheimer's disease called Arts 4 Alzheimer's: Alzheimer's 101.

The NBAF, presenter of the National Black Arts Festival and the Sadie G Mays Health and Rehabilitation Center will present an informative seminar on Alzheimer's disease called Arts 4 Alzheimer's: Alzheimer's 101. The seminar will be conducted on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. at the Sadie G. Mays Center. The seminar will be led by Tania Becker, founding director of Arts 4 Alzheimer's. The organization was created to help individuals with Alzheimer's find creative outlets and participate in meaningful activities, while having fun and being socially engaged. Suzette Binford, Director of Family Support Services, Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, will explain Alzheimer's disease.Caregivers, friends and family of people diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease often feel helpless:
• How does the disease affect the brain, the person?
• How will the disease progress?
• What creative resources are available to help me cope?
