On Veteran's Day 2011, Deck 84 will pay tribute to veterans past and present by donating 10% of the day's dinner sales to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, a 501c3 organization that has supported the families of fallen and wounded Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps special operations personnel for the past 31 years. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, guests are invited to enjoy Deck 84's waterfront views and mouthwatering selection of dinner entrees, including Soy and Ginger Grilled Hanger Steak, Baja Fish Tacos and Black Angus Slider, while supporting an honorable cause."By providing 10 percent of total Veteran's Day dinner sales to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Deck 84 would not only benefit veterans, but their families as well." says Burt Rapoport, owner of Deck 84. "The Special Operations Warrior Foundation has made a continuous impact on the community, and we're proud to do our part in supporting this worthy cause."
Last year alone, the foundation provided $4.8 million in scholarship grants, financial aid and counseling to the families of fallen special operations personnel.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.
