GAINESVILLE, VA, August 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) Zahra Universe has recently released the much anticipated music video for the first single "Falling in Love" of her upcoming album currently titled "Dancing by the Fire". Directed by Rod On, Jr., The video was inspired by scenes from the classic 1960 French film "A bout de souffle" (directed by Jean-Luc Godard). The music video was actually filmed in the center of Paris in a hotel suite overlooking the famous Eiffel Tower (which is shot in a beautiful lit-up night scene at the end of the video). Zahra Universe takes on the role of an American girl in Paris 'Patricia Francinni' (played by Jean Seberg in the film) in a cute bedroom-apartment scene with her criminal French boyfriend. Mimicking the character of 'Patricia', Zahra Universe shows a "smart, cute, and sexy side of herself portraying this classic role" [Arusa Music Entertainment].
The music to "Falling in Love" is a very modern up-tempo dance track with strong vocals, resembling almost a retro '70's style single vocal line. "Falling in Love" combines a European-inspired dance beat with an unforgettable melody and catchy lyrics. Both, the song and the video have received raving reviews from European and Canadian markets and will be making their debut in Asia and the US this Fall 2010.
"It was really a learning experience," says Zahra Universe, "to delve into a bit of 1960's French culture and learn about this really cool classic film...it has helped to expand my knowledge of world cinema and my acting skills as well".
The music video "Falling in Love" can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/zahrauniverse. More information on Zahra Universe and "Falling in Love" can be found at http://www.zahrauniverse.com and http://www.arusaentertainment.net.
