2011-11-23
COOKEVILLE, TN, November 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) Cumberland Toyota is proud to announce their newest promotion this holiday season. The Cookeville Toyota dealership is going to be collecting toy for the local Toys for Tots campaign. When drivers bring a toy donation, valued at over $10, Cumberland Toyota will give that driver a complimentary oil change.

This is a limited time promotion, so drivers who wish to donate and receive their complimentary oil change must act quickly.

Cumberland Toyota is proud to support Toys for Tots and everything they do for the under privileged children of the Cookeville area. They are hoping that by offering free oil changes to all who donate, Cookeville residents will be more inclined to bring their toys to Cumberland Toyota.

Toys for Tots began in 1947 when Major Bill Hendricks, a United States Marine, collected and distributed 5,000 toys to needy children. Since then the program has become a staple of the holiday season, providing thousands upon thousands of toys to kids. Toys for Tots collects toys across the country during the months of October, November, and December. To help collect toys bins are set up at participating businesses and sporting events and people are encouraged to bring their new, unwrapped toys and drop them off at any collection center.
