San Antonio Podiatrist Urges Patients Not To Ignore Flat Feet

SAN ANTONIO, TX, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Experienced San Antonio podiatrist, Dr. Ed Davis, is educating patients about the effects of flat feet on their health. Treatment and prevention of adult flatfoot can reduce the incidence of additional foot problems such as hammertoes, arthritis, calluses and bunions in San Antonio, and improve a person's overall health, according to research published in the July/August Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery.

Overweight males in white-collar jobs are most apt to suffer from adult flatfoot disorder, a progressive condition characterized by partial or total collapse of the arch, according to the research.
