ROSEVILLE, CA, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) A haunted house in the Sacramento valley located at the Placer County Fairgrounds in Roseville is raising the bar. Customers of Callson Manor have been getting scared there for 2 years now. Many have not been able to make it through all 3 attractions. Then there are a few that want a bigger thrill. Callson Manor started constructing The Miner's Revenge and TOTS Halloween to satisfy the demand. They hired Ralis Kahn to help with some of the make-up designs to kick things up a notch. Ralis is known for his gory and twisted effects with Marilyn Manson and Slipknot. He also does make-up effects for film and TV. Animatronics expert Bryan Patterson is installing some serious pneumatic effects to add to the sense of terror as well. Miner's Revenge in not recommended for children.
On the flip side, the attraction "Callson Funeral Home" is kept tamed down for those who seek a mild thrill. Also added this year is TOTS Halloween, a trick or treating adventure and carnival for the whole familly. TOTSH will be opening Oct 23.
