The first published book "Rusty's Lemonade Stand" by Ken Ninomiya, from ekn links finishes among the finalist of THE 2010 INTERNATIONAL BOOK AWARDS (IBA) announced by JPX Media this past spring.Over 300 winners and finalists were announced in over 140 categories covering print and audio books. Awards were presented for titles published in 2008, 2009 and 2010. "Rusty's Lemonade Stand" by Ken Ninomiya was among the finalist for Best Children's Picture Book (Softcover).
Jeff Keen, President and CEO of JPX Media, said this year's contest yielded a large number of entries, which were then narrowed down to over 300 winners and finalists. Ken Ninomiya said " I am proud to be chosen among so many great children's books for my first published book. The book's character, Rusty, is a young child who learns about entrepreneurship, family and life during his first start-up business - a traditional lemonade stand."
