REYKJAVIK, ICELAND, December 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) EMCO Software today announced it will launch a new version of its application, EMCO Network Software Scanner, which works with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 to offer customers enhanced security, as well as innovative user interface features and reliability improvements. EMCO Network Software Scanner is designed to help network administrators and IT professionals to audit software installed on Windows computers in their organizations. It allows extracting software inventory information from all remote PCs connected to a local network into a centralized software inventory database.

EMCO Network Software Scanner allows extracting software inventory information from all remote PCs connected to a local network into a centralized software inventory database. EMCO Network Software Scanner is available as a fully-functional freeware. It can run under Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2000 both x86 and x64 platforms.
