RALEIGH, NC, December 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Chef's Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Eric Gephart, lead instructor for The Chef's Academy, was awarded for Best Presentation at the 2011 Wilmington Epicurean Evening. The event, which was held at the Wilmington Convention Center in September, raised funds for the Methodist Home for Children, an organization that educates parents and caregivers on how to eradicate social problems that lead to child abuse, neglect and abandonment. Participants, including Gephart, provided samples of food and drink to more than 400 attendees.
