BROOKLYN, NY, January 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) On December 5, 2011, in the Grand Hyatt on 42nd Street in New York, N.Y., Bitayavon Magazine, a kosher cooking publication available online at http://www.Bitayavon.com, was honored as one of the hottest magazine launches of 2011 by MIN (Media Industry Newsletter). The fact that the Bitayavon gourmet kosher magazine is the first Jewish publication to receive such recognition is a reflection of the growing numbers, influence and needs of the kosher community.
Dr. Samir Husni, Founder and Director of the Magazine Innovation Center at the University of Mississippi's Meek School of Journalism and New Media, personally selected Bitayavon magazine — which features gourmet kosher recipes for both Jewish holidays and Shabbos dinners — from a group of over 800 new consumer titles published from October 2010 to September 2011.
"When I select a magazine as a hot launch, it's more of a status symbol or medal-of-honor to celebrate that moment when all the DNA for a magazine comes to fruition," says Dr. Husni. "It is the vision, values and voice of those magazines that deserve the honors and awards."
Bitayavon magazine launched in February 2011 as a 40-page local magazine and has grown to a 76-page magazine that is sold worldwide in kosher cooking supermarkets, at newsstands, online at Bitayavon.com, in large supermarket chains, and at Barnes and Noble. The goal of the magazine is to create a modern publication that appeals to all and is completely kosher, from the gourmet kosher recipes it shares to the articles it publishes. Bitayavon magazine is the most recent reflection of the growth of the kosher market and the expansion of the kosher cooking palate.
As Shifra Klein, co-founder of Bitayavon, shared at the award ceremony, "We are all about revolutionizing the concept of kosher cooking to meet the needs of the growing kosher foodie population."
Bitayavon has proved to be a quality kosher publication that provides gourmet kosher recipes, tips, and insightful articles related to the kosher lifestyle. In addition to all the kosher recipes and high quality design and photographs, Bitayavon provides a lot to read as well.

Bitayavon is an exciting new gourmet kosher magazine featuring high-end recipes for both Jewish holidays and Shabbos meals. Available online at Bitayavon.com, the magazine supplements its kosher food recipes with helpful articles and tips for living kosher.
