The competition is the first event to be organised by local automobile enthusiast community Classic Car Club Phuket in 2012, with proceedings to get underway at 11:00 local time on the Sunday morning.
 
It involves an exciting rally race around the north-eastern part of Phuket island, which combines high-octane racing action with some relaxing breaks in idyllic parts of the tropical location.
 
Competitors will be challenged to show off their driving skills and knowledge of classic cars in a number of creative and amusing games, with the ultimate winner taking home the trophy itself.
 
Car owners and enthusiasts from all walks of life are welcome to take part in the event, which will be completely free of charge.
 
The event will help the Classic Car Club Phuket to further its aim of building enthusiasm for vintage vehicles in Thailand, as well as providing a forum for fans to share their interests.
