EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, January 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) Kaiser Chiefs, the indie rock band famed for their energetic live shows, are due to perform in Edinburgh next month.
Fresh from the release of their fourth studio album The Future is Medieval in June 2011, the Leeds-based group are set to embark on an extensive UK tour.
Their performance at the Scottish capital's HMV Picture House on Thursday February 9th is likely to feature new songs such as Little Shocks and Man on Mars, as well as hits from their previous albums.
Employment, the band's acclaimed debut release from 2005, was nominated for the Mercury Prize and brought them a taste of chart success with catchy singles such as I Predict a Riot and Oh My God.
The group achieved their first number one single in 2007 with Ruby, the anthemic lead track from their second LP Yours Truly, Angry Mob.
Tickets to see Kaiser Chiefs in Edinburgh are available online, priced at GBP25 plus booking fee. Doors at the Picture House are due to open at 19:00 GMT.
