Timothy R. Zinnecker Named Associate Dean For Academic Affairs At Campbell Law School

New Associate Dean To Also Serve As Professor of Commercial Law Courses

RALEIGH, NC, February 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Melissa Essary, dean of Campbell Law School (http://law.campbell.edu), has announced has that Timothy R. Zinnecker assumed the role of associate dean for academic affairs at the school in January 2012. Zinnecker also serves as a professor of law, teaching payment systems and secured transactions, along with other commercial law courses.

Prior to joining Campbell Law, Zinnecker was a tenured professor at South Texas College of Law. He has also taught law courses as a visitor at Samford University, Florida State University, University of Richmond and University of Houston. Zinnecker earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and data processing with honors from Central Missouri State University. He earned his law degree at Brigham Young University, where he served on the management board of the law review and became a member of the Order of the Coif. Upon his graduation, he served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Frank X. Gordon on the Arizona Supreme Court and the Honorable Edith H. Jones on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
