MyHandleBar Cruises into Second Season

Giant Party Bike Hits the Streets of Boulder and Fort Collins March 1

2012-02-23
BOULDER, CO, February 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) MyHandleBar, the 16-passenger party bike that had Boulder and Fort Collins gawking last summer, is coming out of hibernation. MyHandleBar will be back on the streets starting March 1.

After a successful inaugural season for MyHandleBar, the second season will come with new bar partnerships, special MyHandleBar mixers and several other fun events.

"Last year when we brought out these bikes, no one knew quite what to make of them. Then, after being out on the roads for a few weeks, the concept really took off," said Theresa Preston. "Coloradans love beer, bicycles and being fit, so this is a natural addition to the great bars and breweries in Boulder and Fort Collins."

Last June, Colorado native and serial entrepreneur Preston launched MyHandleBar as a fun, unique way to experience bars and breweries in Northern Colorado. The party bike can seat up to 16 people and one designated driver provided by the company.

The bike routes focus on local breweries and famous bars. MyHandleBar bike is an awesome, eco-friendly option for birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, brewery tours, company parties and just nights on the town.

About MyHandleBar
MyHandleBar is a giant, 16-passenger bar-bike with several pedaling seats. It is an awesome, eco-friendly way to cruise around Boulder and Fort Collins with friends or crawl from pub to pub, sampling local brews and site seeing. This bike is the ideal Colorado party rental when you're looking to have fun in the sun, burn some calories and bond with friends.

The bike was originally called "fietscafe," which is a loose Dutch translation for "Bike Cafe." And, like a great many out-of-the-box ideas, this one started in a pub, was spurred on by a friendly wager and was literally sketched out on a bar napkin.

More information is available at http://www.MyHandleBar.com, on the Facebook page, Twitter or YouTube.
