PRINCETON, NJ, February 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) Rumor has it that members of NAFA Fleet Management Association were seen dancing in the streets today when news broke that the Association's 2012 Institute & Expo (I&E) had completely sold out the remainder of its exhibit space, a full two and a half months before the event! This marks the third straight year NAFA's annual conference has watched its Expo Floor sell out, despite increasing the amount of available exhibit space each time.
NAFA's 2012 Institute & Expo will take place April 21-24 at the America's Center in St. Louis, MO. NAFA reserved more than 62,000 square feet of exhibit space for the Expo Floor and, until recently, had expected the space to be sold out by the end of February. Instead, the Association now finds itself accepting applications for a waiting list should any additional space be made available.
"It's absolutely incredible to have the Expo Floor completely sold out so quickly," said NAFA's Executive Director Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "NAFA always bills the I&E as the fleet management industry event of the year and it's wonderful to see the industry treat it as such. This is the third straight year we've increased the amount of available Expo Floor space and each year has sold out earlier and earlier. It's a great problem to have!"
By the time last year's I&E ended, the 2012's Expo Floor was already 40 percent sold. Next year's I&E will be held in Atlantic City, NJ, and businesses interested in exhibiting are encouraged to reserve space well in advance.
"We fully expect to have at least half of next year's exhibit space sold by the end of the conference," Russo added.
Businesses who wish to be added to the exhibitor waiting list should contact Mark Miller, Show Manager-Exhibit and Sponsorship Sales for NAFA at mmiller@naylor.com. In addition, businesses who wish to be part of NAFA's 2012 I&E can advertise in the official Show Guide or daily conference newspaper. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are still available as well. For more information, please visit http://www.nafaexpo.org.
The 2012 I&E takes place April 21-24 at the America's Center in St. Louis, MO. The event program, created by fleet managers for fleet managers, features over 60 hours of fleet training, education, and workshops. In addition to an Expo Floor consisting of more than 200 companies showcasing their products and services, the I&E brings back fan favorites such as the Public Safety Roadeo and the Green Zone. Keynote presentations will be made by Canadian automotive journalist Jim Kenzie and Dr. Peter Bishop, PhD. Official media sponsors for NAFA's 2012 I&E include Automotive Digest, CAMAUTO, Canadian Automotive Fleet, CAR âEUR" Canadian Automotive Review, Canadian Automotive Review, FleetDigest, FleetFocus, Fleet Maintenance, Fleet Management, Fleet Management Weekly, Fleet Owner, Fleet Perspectives, FLEETSolutions, International Fleet World, Light & Medium Truck, Naylor, NGT News, PoliceOne.com, and Utility Fleet Professional. Early registration savings end February 29. For more information, visit http://www.nafainstitute.org.
