Fennley Announces a Social Marketing Strategy Workshop!

Social marketing strategy requires inspiration, creativity, and an ability to offer value to your subscribers.

2012-02-24
TORONTO, CANADA, February 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) With the social media age firmly upon us, marketers are under even greater pressures to develop winning strategies. With that in mind, the Fennley team of digital and social media marketing experts will be offering a free workshop to help marketers further understand and navigate the social space while strategically integrating multiple digital media channels to deliver optimal results. Founder/CMO Geoff Gilbert said that "I founded Fennley so that we could help foster a new way of thinking for the digital and social marketing space."

The social media age has added a whole new chapter of knowledge for marketers to navigate which will create a dire need for education from the experts. Marketing Profs states that "although most US companies use social networks—66% have a Facebook page, 51% have a Twitter account, and 44% have a LinkedIn page—only 16% say their social marketing efforts are fully integrated across the organization, according to a study by InSites Consulting." The fact that so many companies lack integration is a testament to the challenge that social media presents to marketers in the 21st century. With that being said the need for education in social media strategy and deployment is at an all time high.

The name of the Fennley workshop is: "The power of integrating email, social media, and the influencer network!" The professionals that attend this workshop can expect to learn the fundamentals of social media, the mechanics of building data driven campaigns for success, and develop the skills necessary to optimize the use of the right digital channels.

Topics include:

1) What is social marketing, really...?
2) Strategy and the art of data-driven campaign success!
3) Social "Proper-gation:" What is it, and why is it critical in reaching your target audience?
4) Integration: Utilizing the right digital channels for the biggest wins!

Date: Friday March 9th, 2012
Time: 1-3 pm
Place: Hudson's Bay Centre @ 2 Bloor St. East - Suite 3500
