SAN DIEGO, CA, February 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Jackson Design & Remodeling today announced that voting begins today in the 2012 JDR Industry Blogger Awards. This year there are 29 nominees in five categories: Interior Design, Construction Business, Remodeling, Architecture and Green. Winners will be determined by the number of votes received beginning today through April 13, 2012. The five winning blogs will be announced April 18. Each winner will receive a $500 cash prize and a 2012 JDR Blogger Awards Winner badge to display on their site.
Created by San Diego-based Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR), the goal of the JDR Blogger Awards is to bring additional recognition to the work of the best blogs in the business, while promoting the professionalism of the remodeling industry and inspiring clients with the latest trends in home design.
"This is the third year of our blogger awards and we've been really surprised by how much they've grown in such a short period of time," said Todd Jackson, president of Jackson Design and Remodeling. "When we started the blogger awards, we wanted to do something to recognize the many design, and remodeling websites out there that are providing inspiration to consumers and promoting excellence in the industry. Last year we added the categories "Green" and "Architecture" which really made sense for this industry. This year's list of nominees is by far the best we've seen.
