BANGKOK, THAILAND, March 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Bangkok will be the venue for a performance by music industry legends Earth Wind and Fire this April when the band bring their Guiding Lights Tour 2012 to the city.

Taking place at the Impact Arena in Muang Thong Thani on April 2nd, the show will see touring band members Philip Bailey, Verdine White and Ralph Johnson treating audiences to some of their biggest hits.

Since rising to prominence in the 1970s, Maurice White's group have sold more than 90 million albums worldwide, putting them seventh on the list of all-time bestselling American bands.

Over the years, they have built up a repertoire of legendary songs such as September, After the Love Has Gone, Fantasy and Boogie Wonderland, many of which will likely be performed at the Bangkok show.

Tickets are available online now and are priced between 2,000 and 4,000 baht (GBP41.50 to GBP83).

The performance will get started at 20:30 local time, with gates opening an hour beforehand.

Earth Wind and Fire's Bangkok show concludes the East Asian leg of the tour, with performances in Australia taking place later in April.
