CARY, NC, March 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Lotus Survival Foundation (LSF), a nonprofit organization that provides support to those affected by breast cancer, has selected S&A Cherokee as its agency of record. S&A Cherokee will assist the LSF with its public relations and marketing efforts, including digital marketing, social media and event planning.
Founded by breast cancer survivor Claudia Tovar de Aguirre, the LSF's mission is to provide education and access to resources meant to assist low-income, uninsured women who have been affected by or are concerned about breast cancer. The organization offers workshops on laughter yoga, exercise and nutrition, as well as healing retreats that focus on activities that replenish the mind, body and soul. Participants learn new strategies and helpful tips that will assist them in coping with everyday stress associated with managing their personal and professional lives.
