PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, March 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) PGA National Resort & Spa -- the legendary South Florida destination -- announces that its contemporary bar and lounge, iBAR, has been honored by the Palm Beach Pulse (online) as one of the five "Best Happy Hours in Palm Beach Gardens." Located adjacent to Ironwood Steak and Seafood, iBAR is a sexy and sophisticated gathering spot for guests and locals alike. Part of PGA National's $65 million renovation projects, it's a chic spot to meet friends, enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine before dinner, or sip on a nightcap to complete the day on a satisfying note.

Locals and resort guests are welcomed for daily happy hour specials from 5 pm to 7 pm, which include $2 draft beers, $4 house cocktails and $6 premium well martinis. There is live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm, along with select appetizers available for $8. Daily deals are also featured like Thursday's where ladies can take advantage of a selection of complimentary Sobieski Vodka martinis from 7pm to 9 pm, at the iSTYLE Ladies Night.

iBAR also hosts monthly events and gatherings such as Girls Night Out, a fabulous social and shopping event for local and visiting ladies. Featuring discounted cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and entertainment, it is a unique way for woman to kick back with friends for some fun. Really any day of the week though there is something happening, including dancing into the late hours of the night, to the tunes of the resort's official iBAND, local favorite Eddie Raye Band.

On Mondays, guests can't get enough of one of our best deals; half off any bottles of wine on the menu! At iBAR, there is one of the most extensive wine lists in South Florida, with over 350 top-shelf selections. The current wine list boasts 39 wines by the glass (23 reds and 16 whites from $8 - $25) and 215 wines by the bottle (from $24 to $975).

On a visit to PGA, visitors can't miss the centerpiece of the dining area, which is the floor-to-ceiling wine room, with bottles of the finest vintage wines from across the globe. The custom built modular racks in the cellar hold 215 wines, stored in a high quality temperature controlled environment. The red wines are kept at 65 degrees Fahrenheit, with a separate white wine and champagne service compartment set at 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit. The knowledgeable food and beverage management team spend tremendous amounts of time swirling, smelling, and tasting 'boutique wines' from around the world, to provide wine adoring customers with ever-changing opportunities to explore many wine selections from near and far. And because of its storied golf history, there are even wines produced by PGA TOUR golf legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo and Luke Donald within the collection as well, so guests are sure to find something they'll love at iBAR.
