Boob Job Creams Under the Microscope After Six-Week Experiment

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, March 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Cosmetic Surgery Guru, one of the leading voices on surgical and non-surgical treatments including breast augmentations, looked at the two leading products on the market and recruited a selection of women to act as volunteers in testing the products. The women were asked to record their findings over a period of six weeks - and the results have just been released.

It was found that the most expensive cream on the market was the one that gained the most negative remarks with regards its properties for increasing bust size - but was great as a luxurious, moisturiser. This led one respondent to say the product was "not worth the money for what is more or less a posh moisturiser."

Others commented on the "soft scent of rose, orange and grapefruit oil" that was found to be pleasant enough, but overall it was found that having to apply the ointment on a regular basis was something of a problem. "I started by enjoying the experience and the luxury of the cream," said one volunteer at the three week mark "[but] I'm getting bored with the extra step - especially as there's no discernible difference."

A second cream was tested for its ability to give women a fuller bust without the need for a boob job that was met with a more positive response. In addition to the scent of the cream, some of the women said that they noticed a change around halfway through the study. "I do think my breasts feel fuller and tighter," none explained. "For example, in the past when I had on a bra and put my hand in the middle of my chest when the bra sections meet it was totally flat - now it feels fuller. My breasts also look a bit rounder and more appealing in my bra."

This slightly cheaper option wasn't a hit with everyone, but others said they felt that their chest was "slightly firmer". Another unexpected thing that was reported was that having to apply the cream twice daily made women more aware of their breast size, with one saying: "I'd certainly be likely to notice changes".

So overall, it looks like these creams won't be providing a serious alternative to the option of boob jobs any time soon.
