LateRooms.com - Be Spooked by London's Halloween Experience

Adults and youngsters could have a spooky treat in store for them if they book seats on the Halloween Experience narrowboat ride in London.

2010-09-26
LONDON, ENGLAND, September 26, 2010 (Press-News.org) If guests at London hotels are looking for something scary to do when they come to the city, they could consider the Halloween Experience at the London Canal Museum.

Halloween is traditionally more of an occasion for youngsters to get excited and frighten each other, but even adults may struggle to remain completely nonplussed during this occasion.

Running on October 30th and 31st 2010, this special event will see visitors take a trip through Islington Tunnel on a traditional narrowboat.

Watch out for the witch in among the crew, although the organisers maintain she is friendly.

There are sure to be plenty of surprises and seasonal decorations aboard the vessel, as the London Canal Museum attempts to spook its visitors.

Children must be accompanied by adults for the trips and grown-ups are not allowed on the boat on their own.

Tickets cost GBP10 for adults and GBP8 for youngsters, with the vessel departing between 15:00 and 21:00 BST on both days.

As well as enjoying this fright-fest, people can also take a look around the London Canal Museum, as entrance is included in the admission price.

Attendees can learn all about the history of canals in the city within the building, which is a former ice warehouse built in the 19th century.

For more information on this event visit the Visit London website or contact the venue on +44 (0)20 7713 0836.
