LABUAN, MALAYSIA, March 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Malaysia's Labuan International Sea Sport Complex will be the venue for numerous aquatic activities when the Labuan International Sea Challenge 2012 is held in April.

Running from April 27th to 29th, the event is taking place as part of the Malaysia Water Festival and will offer a range of different tournaments and challenges, including jet ski races, parasailing, kayaking, yachting, boat rides and fishing.

The main highlights include the Labuan International Fishing Tournament, Labuan Cross Channel Swimming Challenge and the Round Island Kayak Challenge, as well as a kayak sprint event.

Participants in these events will be able to test their skills against competitors and put themselves in contention to win cash prizes.

Meanwhile, supporting activities include the Shore Fishing Competition and a number of non-water sport events, such as a beach volleyball tournament, a stage show, a bike festival and a Borneo battle of the bands.

This year's Labuan International Sea Challenge will be the 16th edition, cementing the event's status as one of Malaysia's flagship water sports celebrations.
