Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc. Holds National Sales Conference; Tony Mandarich, Harry Kraemer and Eric Gregg Featured as Keynote Speakers

LOMBARD, IL, March 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc., a national staffing organization specialized in recruiting skilled personnel for clients in the Professional Services, Life Sciences, Healthcare and Information Technology industries, welcomed sales professionals from the company's 14 offices to convene for Medix's annual sales conference. Over the course of three days, the entire Medix sales force seized the opportunity to meet their colleagues from across the nation and hone in on valuable sales strategies and methodologies while absorbing information from insightful keynote speakers.

This year, 85 Medix employees gathered at the company's corporate headquarters in Lombard, Ill. for the meeting. This year's conference centered on Medix's recent ten year anniversary, what has driven them to become the company they are today, and how Medix will continue to achieve success in the years to come. The meeting also provided an excellent opportunity to cultivate valuable sales strategies. "From a training perspective, we wanted to put people in the position to experience as many real life scenarios as possible," said Andrew Limouris, Medix's CEO and President. "We utilized our most experienced sales people to facilitate role plays, and it provided very specific learning opportunities for our newest sales people. With that, they have tangible material they can put into action immediately."

This year's conference also hosted three keynote speakers to deliver information and knowledge to the team. Tony Mandarich, former football offensive lineman in the NFL, spoke on the topic of goal setting and not buying into the myth of overnight success. Harry Kraemer, an executive partner with private equity firm Madison Dearborn and a Clinical Professor of Management and Strategy at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, talked with the team about his book "From Values to Action" and the four principles of value-based leadership. Eric Gregg, founder and CEO of Inavero, spoke on candidate and client experience within staffing.

"It's easy to get caught in the day-to-day struggles of the staffing industry and overlook the importance of developing relationships with your teammates," agreed another first-time conference attendee, Chris O'Connor of Medix's Dallas office. "Now that I know my colleagues on a personal and professional level, I feel that we have a solid infrastructure to keep ourselves balanced in times of struggle and exhilarated in times of triumph. Building relationships is a fundamental aspect of our job. I know the lifelong friendships that were developed will provide a great foundation for our team to push each other to reach historical heights for Medix."
