VENTNOR, NJ, September 27, 2010 (Press-News.org) Samantha Lockwood's much anticipated film Shoot The Hero releases October 1 so look for it on Pay per View and On Demand and co stars Danny Trejo and Jason Mewes. Beautiful, confident and well spoken Lockwood not only will debut her new movie but is also announcing that her successful jewelry line called Fleurings is launching a Mens Line using sought after actor/model Alex Kudo as 'The Face of Fleurings' Kudo is the son of world famous Japanese artist. Muramasa Kudo and entrepreneur Susan Kudo. The Fleurings Mens line will consist of lapel pins that hold water and living flowers (like the earrings and necklaces from the womens line) and are considered ideal for weddings and special occasions. Kudo has worked with companies like Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, Urban Outfutters and other top of the line designers. Magazines like GQ, Maxim, Spin, Vogue Japan and Complex have pursued Kudo and his talents, as well. The LA based Kudo has a new film, "Land of the Astronauts" making the rounds of the top film festivals which stars David Arquette. Besides Fleurings, Kudo is working with girlfriend Samantha Lockwood to create a documentary about Muramasa's life and painting work. It will include Muramasa's beautiful art and their famous family lineage with legendary Samurai Ryoma Sakamoto.
Lockwood is also slated to bring screen legend actress Mary Pickford to life in a new feature film in development with Biograph called "America's Sweetheart". It is a docu-drama about Hollywood's "First Lady" (concerned that this sounds like she was in office for something... what about "First Superstar" or "First Superstar Lady") and one of the most influential women in the history of the cinema. Lockwood's father, icon Gary Lockwood will co star in the film as theatre magnate, David Belasco. Gary Lockwood is known worldwide for his portrayal of Dr. Frank Poole in 2001: A Space Odyssey. "America's Sweetheart" will be produced by the Biograph Company who Pickford ironically began her film career with back in 1909.
Samantha Lockwood is one of a kind. A renaissance women who possesses all the qualities of a true Hollywood star. An actor, writer, producer, yogini, painter, designer and inventor all rolled into a beautiful, intelligent young lady.
