To be held at The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence, the event will see riders speeding across land and sand, through water and high into the air in a spectacular competition involving international stars.
Reigning champion Dany Torres will compete against the likes of Nate Adams and Andre Villa as they vie to start the season with a bang, with riders set to be better prepared for the sandy conditions than they were at the inaugural 2011 Dubai event.
The event kicks off a six-stop world tour that will subsequently take the riders to Glen Helen in the US, Istanbul, Madrid, Munich and finally Sydney for a grand finale.
Fans can purchase tickets for Red Bull X-Fighters online now for as little as 75 dirhams (GBP12.80).
The venue is located right next to the Dubai Marina, allowing visitors to enjoy a picturesque setting close to the Persian Gulf.
