CHARLESTON, SC, March 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Attorney Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina spoke to the Law Education class at Bishop England High School In Charleston SC on Thursday March 8th 2012. Attorney Guthrie talked about the legal profession and some of his experiences as a lawyer to the class. Mr. Guthrie is a graduate of Bishop England and was glad to be able to come back and contribute and share some of his knowledge. Attorney Guthrie's presentation ranged from how he went from high school to college to law school to being a practicing attorney. The class was studying the topics of the juvenile justice system and mediation at the time of Mr. Guthrie's visit and he discussed what he knew about those topics.

The students asked a lot of good questions that ranged from how to balance a full work schedule to what were some of the most interesting legal situations Mr. Guthrie was involved in. The law education class is a one semester class and is meant to give the students an introduction to the law through classroom lectures, guest speakers, and field trips. This was the second time that Attorney Guthrie was able to speak to the law education class and he looks forward to being able to come back and speak again.
