SAN FRANCISCO, CA, September 27, 2010 (Press-News.org) San Francisco, CA-based ChangeDetect has unveiled a newly redesigned web-site: http://www.changedetect.com
The web-site design updates the look and feel of ChangeDetect to modernize the user interface thereby improving the user experience.
ChangeDetect is an automated competitive intelligence tool that is free to use and allows users to bookmark certain web-sites that they would like to be notified whenever a change to that site is made.
"Change Alerts" are sent out by e-mail, pager or text message. When a relevant change is detected, ChangeDetect automatically sends a version of the web page with new or changed text highlighted with the color green and deleted or removed text highlighted with the color red.
"May I congratulate you to this very useful innovation, change highlighting, which works like a charm for me. In many cases I see the change is irrelevant for me, from the highlight, and do not bother to visit the page at all. Keep up the good work," said one subscriber from Germany.
"The ChangeDetect web page monitoring service has been in continuous operation since March 2002. Previously, we had focused most of our design efforts on new features and functionality like change highlighting. Flash forward to 2010, more than eight years later, and we have now updated the look and feel of ChangeDetect to be cleaner, more open and easier to navigate. We believe that the new web design will not only present a fresher face for ChangeDetect, but will provide a solid foundation for upcoming enhancements and other developments," said Karen Burns, Business Development Manager.
The redesigned ChangeDetect web-site now features a blog with the latest news, videos, images, podcasts, free downloads and other rich media. However even with new media options available from ChangeDetect, the web-site redesign is far from complete. Even still, subscribers both new and old, may continue to rely on ChangeDetect for web page monitoring and other content monitoring solutions.
